The following are critical services that the Registrar General’s Department facilitates for someone other than the relevant person to perform on behalf of the designated business owner or business representative. So, a duthaya can perform the following ten services behalf of you 

    Land Registration
    • The original
    • Duly attested or certified copy
    • In the case of a will, the probate or letters of administration with a copy of a will annexed shall be presented for registration.
    • letter of authority authorizing Duthaya

    Obtain Certified Copies of Deed
    • Application form – Applicants are welcome to forward their requests in standard format. Application (Registration A 32 B) can be download through web – Download
    • Fee-Copies of or extracts from any deed relating to any land: – Rs. 1000.00 and need to be paid separately to the service fee to Duthaya in advance during Pick up.

    Obtain Copies of Land Registers
    • Applicants are welcome to forward their requests in standard format. Application (Registration A 32 A) can be download through web – Download
    • Fee – Copies of or extracts from any folio or folios relating to any land: – Rs. 200.00 and need to be paid separately to the service fee to Duthaya in advance during Pick up.

    Search of Land Register / Duplicate of Deeds
    • Application form- Application for search of land registers – Registration A 33 A – Application format can be downloaded via here
      / Application for search of duplicate of deeds – Registration A 33 B – Application format can be downloaded via here
    • Fee- Inspect the duplicate of deed or land register: – Rs. 1000.00: and need to be paid separately to the service fee to Duthaya in advance during Pick up

    Registration of Power of Attorney
    • Original power of attorney
    • A copy certified by a notary public to be a true copy
    • An affidavit to the effect that to the best of his knowledge and belief such power of attorney is genuine and still in force, by attorney
    • Fees chargeable are as follows. and need to be paid separately to the service fee to Duthaya in advance during Pick up
    • Registration of a Power of Attorney-Rs. 2500.00
    • Inspect Records relating to Power of Attorney-Rs600.00
    • Obtain a certified copy of the Power of Attorney -Rs 600.00
    • Issue a certified extract of a folio Rs.600.00
